A strength of The Ford Meter Box Company has been our ability of offer a variety of couplings for different types of water service lines. If you use copper, iron, polyethylene or PVC, Ford can satisfy your coupling needs.

THE PACK JOINT - Ford Pack Joint couplings provide a balance design for coupling any type of service line pipe. All design parameters are given equal emphasis. The Pack Joint provides all the pullout resistance you need for the heaviest backfill loads but not more than you need. The gasketed nut provides the mechanical seal and guarantees electrical conductivity.

THE QUICK JOINT - The new Ford Quick Joint offers traditional Ford features of quality and reliability. This easy to use fitting is available on a wide variety of Ford products. Just stab the copper or plastic tubing into the fitting and tighten down the compression nut to the stop. That's it! The Quick Joint provides excellent pullout resistance and superior hydraulic blow-off protection. Note: The Ford Quick Joint Nut is NOT interchangeable with other Ford Compression fittings.

THE GRIP JOINT - The Grip Joint coupling is a one-step compression coupling that offers proven reliability and ease of operation. Special gaskets tabs help retain the coupling components inside the nut if it is removed from the coupling body. An internal stop makes installation a snap. Just stab in the pipe and tighten the nut until it bottoms out. It doesn't get much easier than that.

THE LEAD-PAK - The Ford Lead-Pak coupling can help you meet the EPA's goal of eliminating lead lines. As buried lead services are unearthed because of construction or line failure, the opportunity exists to replace the lead with a different type of material. Lead-Pak couplings are available with a variety of adapter connections.

A major advantage of Ford couplings is that they are available on the industry's broadest line of water works brass valves, fittings and meter setting equipment. In sizes 1/2" through 2", Ford couplings can be ordered on meter couplings, Yokes, Coppersetters, Resetters, plastic pit sitters, ball valves, key valves, corporation stops and check valves.
